I am an artist and storyteller from the Northwoods of Minnesota. I have lived in the Northwoods for much of my life and find comfort and inspiration among the trees. I have been teaching and showing art for more than a decade as a way to foster connections. I paint bold, kaleidoscopic acrylic paintings of flora and fauna that create relationships between me, my subjects, and other humans. I pair my paintings with my writings.

My paintings are loud in order to give voice to the wild world. My work is also dreamy, filled with whimsy and personality making my creatures endearing. My vibrant characters reflect the rich lives that their real world counterparts lead.
